Patrick O'Hearn
Pat has held senior executive positions in management, marketing, operations and engineering during over 30 years in the electronics industry. He has been a senior executive in the communication and semiconductor industry in large multinational corporations such as Plessey, Philips, Fujitsu, Motorola and Cirrus Logic.
Pat served as the founding President and CEO of ATM Limited. Launching the company in 1994/95 he raised venture investment from leading Silicon Valley venture capitalists. Prior to its IPO the company was renamed Virata Corp. and subsequently merged with Globespan to become GlobespanVirata.
In 1998 he became CEO for InTalk Inc., a Wireless LAN Network company, launching its first products and ramping its sales rapidly. In 1999 Pat sold the company to Nokia Inc. and was subsequently retained as a strategic consultant to Nokia. In 2000 he founded Actineon Inc. a pioneer in Machine-to-Machine (M2M) telemetry systems. Pat serves as Actineon's Chairman. He also serves on the board of SmartFix a technology licensing company and WDGAzure Ltd. a European Integrated Marketing company.
Mr. O'Hearn received a B.Sc. in Applied Physics from Newcastle University.
Daniel Dunleavy
Dan has over 25 years' Business Development experience in the technology sector. He has held various positions in sales, marketing and business development for successful North American and European companies.
As Sales and Marketing Director for Point Source Ltd., world leader in the development, marketing and sales of fiber optic and laser devices, he grew sales by over 50% in two years. Dan negotiated OEM agreements and launched marketing programs which positioned the company and its products for further sustained growth.
In 2000, Dan set up the European Office for CenterBeam, a Silicon Valley start-up offering outsourced IT infrastructure and services to medium and large companies.
Prior to CenterBeam, Dan served as European Director for Future Electronics, a $5-billion component distribution company. Dan ran a Sales Division of 160 professionals operating in the UK , Germany and France . During his seven-year tenure, Dan led a program to establish subsidiaries in 11 countries, underpinning sustained growth in sales of an enviable 50% p.a.
Dan won scholarships to pursue a B.Sc. Honors in Engineering at the University of Bath and an M.B.A. and Dip.M. at the University of Durham . He resides in Maidenhead in the U.K.
Thomas C. Wyatt
Tom is a corporate lawyer who brings 25 years of legal and intellectual property (“IP”) experience to Sapiential Prime, with a strong background in technology alliances and business strategy. He was most recently General Counsel to Philips Semiconductors Inc., with responsibility for North American legal affairs of the $6 billion semiconductor affiliate of Royal Philips Electronics, NV. As a member of the senior management team, Tom was active in maintaining key technology alliances while protecting Philips IP rights. He has acted as lead negotiator in numerous corporate divestitures and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Philips, Tom was Senior Counsel at Intel Corporation, where he negotiated and drafted all licensing transactions, strategic alliances and joint ventures for several divisions. While at Intel, he participated in several successful joint venture transactions in China and Japan . He negotiated and structured complex technology transfer agreements in European Union , Japan , China and Singapore .
Before joining Intel Tom was corporate counsel at Bank of America representing the systems Engineering Group in a variety of licensing, development and regulatory matters.
Immediately prior to joining Bank of America, Tom was Chief International Counsel at Computerland Corporation with responsibility for establishing the international law department during Computerland's 35-country expansion. His duties included negotiating specialized commercial lending transactions worldwide, contracting for government subsidies, developing corporate reorganization strategies and managing a worldwide trademark protection program.
Tom has a BA degree from Bishops University ( Canada ) and received his legal education at McGill University , Faculty of Law (BCL), Université de Montréal (LLM, Corporate and Commercial Law) and the University of San Francisco JD . He is a member of the State Bar of California and of the Bar of the Province of Quebec .
Constance Rose
Constance is a Creative Director with over 15 years experience. She began her career in 1989 as a designer for W.L. Gore and Associates (Gore-Tex). From there she worked at major ad agencies in Los Angeles and San Francisco, servicing clients such as Toyota, Kia, Symantec, Dell Computers, Microsoft, Visa, Coca Cola, Driscoll Strawberries, Fetzer Vineyards and many others.
In 1996 she began her own business, Constance Rose Studio, and has acted in a Creative Director capacity for a diverse range of clients, including Marine World, US Navy, Kaiser Permanente, City of Hope Los Angeles, Suni Medical Imaging and TIBCO Enterprise Software.
Constance studied fine art at Northern Arizona University and matriculated through graphic design programs at UC Berkeley and UC Santa Cruz. Her studio provides identity, print, web and motion graphics solutions specializing in branding and strategic thinking.
